Oh my....OCTOBER....this is so going to be a WAY emotional month for me !! Our Hailey Faith turns 5 on Thursday........5 years old......she starts school next year! And our spunky Kaitlyn Rose will turn 3 on October 17th............whoa !!! I can't believe these girlies are growing so fast. They have made our lives just......unbelievable !!!!! We are soo blessed to have them. Nick thinks I am sappy for getting like this at each girls birthday every year....I do not work on ANY of their birthdays, I take off and do fun things with them and just reflect on how truly blessed I am. Anyway, we suprised them Saturday with an early birthday present.......a trampoline with enclosure for the backyard. They were WAY excited !!!!! Nickolas and his dad, "Papa" put it together on Saturday. They have been enjoying it daily. Last night the whole familia laid on it and watched the gorgeous sunset and counted stars....it is being enjoyed by all !!!!! We are having the girls "CAMP ROCK / High School Musical" birthday party at Incredible Pizza and they are counting the days!

September 28th my baby niece, McKayla turned 2 years old. We went to Corpus Christ this past week to celebrate her birthday - she, too, had her party at Chuck E Cheese. Nothing was stolen of mine at this party....lol ! The girls enjoyed each other so much.....Hailey was so proud that she was not scared of Chuck E Cheese this time....Kaitlyn still was scared to death ! Madisyn got her first glimpse of Chuck E this time. McKayla had a wonderful party and she enjoyed herself, which is all that matters....and she got some cool gifts too ! She will so be stylin' this fall !!! We love you McKay Kay !!!!! Check out the pics...

Our little Madisyn is not quite so little anymore....she is now 6 months old, 18 pounds of sweetness ! I cannot believe we have a had her half a year already ! She is out of her DOC band after only 5 weeks of wear -- her little cute head is now ever cuter !! She now holds her own bottle, can sit up on her own, babbles alot, and boy does she love her sisters! They act silly and can make her giggle like crazy-- it is hilarious to watch them interact. Kaitlyn thinks she is Madisyn's mommy and she tries to do everything for her, including feed her, change, her and of course, tell her what to do. I have to remind K that she is NOT the mommy! Madisyn started 'bible class' at church a few weeks ago too....she thinks it is great. I am the Cradle Roll teacher on Sunday mornings, so, it is helping integrate her. She is the most easy going, happy, pleasant little girl ever !! She is down with whatever and always has a smile on her face. Oh, Madisyn Belle...what a blessing you are to us. We cannot wait to watch you grow !!!!!!!!

Caydence's Birthday !

Caydence (the girls friend and my close friends little girl) had her 4th b-day party a few weeks ago -- Nick was working, so, the 3 girls and I trucked up to Austin for her party at Chuck E. Cheese. The girls had alot of fun....I got alot of volunteers to hold Madisyn there - that was nice. Girls played alot of games and had alot of fun. Mommy did not have so much fun though -- believe it or not, my wallet was stolen out of my purse which was in the bottom of Madisyn's stroller !!!!!!! I had to file a police report -- and my checkbook, cash, ID, credit cards -- all stolen !! It was a nightmare cancelling it all !! How sad, you can't even go to a birthday party now days and think things are safe !! Happy Birthday Caydence Hannah -- it was fun anyway and may you have many more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CRAZY Girls at Play !!!

Hailey and Kaitlyn are really at the age where they play awesome together right now -- they are in the phase where they want to play mommy/daddy or boyfriend/girlfriend all the time. They are forever dancing, hugging, kissing, and wanting us to marry them. It kind of grosses me out to be quite honest -- I try to remind myself that I did the exact same thing with my sisters when I was that age. Nonetheless, it is absolutely hilarious. The dance quite well together and Hailey can even dip Kaitlyn Rose. Kaitlyn wears her tu-tu or a dress up dress -- poor Hailey always gets stuck being the dude. I hear her ask at least 2 to 3 times a day - "Kaitlyn, how come I always have to be the boy?"................but Kaitlyn rules the roost apparently. Above are some pics, you can't help but laugh at. Maddie - still perfect as ever !!!

Madisyn Belle got her DOC band on July 24th. She does not seem to mind it at all. It only weighs 4-6 ounces. We take her weekly to Austin for checkup and adjustments. Nickolas took her on Thursday, as I was out of town at a Gang training. Her head had grown 1 cm and adjustments already had to be made. She is doing really well with it. It has not affected her mood or temperament at all -- I was so worried that it would irritate her -she is still the same little sweet, beautiful, easy going girl........even with the little helmet looking thing on. We decorated it all cute - it has her name on the front and a little loop of ribbon where I can change out her bows on the band. On the side it is decorated with pink and brown decals and on the back it says 'princess' in rhinestones and has a tiara on the top. It is cute ! The Dr. office was so impressed, they want to enter her in their calendar contest. This will be something to remember !!!!

Also, while I was gone last week, my mother in law came to stay at our house to care for all 3 girls.....props to Martha !!! Her birthday was Wednesday too -- Nickolas and girls treated her to dinner at Olive Garden and they surprised her with an ice cream cake -- I missed out !!!!

McKenzie comes to visit !

My niece McKenzie came up to stay with us 2 weeks ago - she stayed Tuesday - Sunday. The girls had a blast together -- we went to Gattiland, the Children's museum, Sea World, and all 3 girls got their hair washed, cut, and styled together - they thought that was something else ! My sister Lacey came up and went with us all to Sea World while my mother inlaw kept Madisyn. We did the water park and had lots of fun. Saturday night we had a Hannah Montana party, during the 3D concert on TV. The girls sang and danced the whole time. We also celebrated my sister Lacey's 23rd birthday with a cake and goodies ! The girls really enjoyed each others company and no one was ready for Lacey or Kenz to leave ! McKenzie starts school in a couple weeks, so, this was their last "hangtime" for a while. McKenzie also went with us all to get Madisyn's DOC band for her head in Austin - she was such a help and support that day. She and Hailey helped me paint and decorate it all cute and girly. Thank goodness for our girls !!!

ER trip....

Kaitlyn Rose had her first trip to the ER yesterday....she managed to fall and bust her forehead on the edge of the bathroom door. It was bleeding alot and very evident it needed stitches. She was freaking out, as well as Hailey and I. Nick took it all in stride, as he does everything.....must be nice ! We all loaded up and took her. She required 3 stitches to her forehead and she screamed as it was done. She kept on asking for Hailey, wanting to make sure Hailey was there with her -- Hailey would reassure her by saying , "K, I am right here with you." It was so sweet. Kaitlyn Rose is okay now and now I am just having to remind her not to romp around and rough-house, which she loves to do. She gets the stitches taken out on Friday. We just hope she manages to keep them in until then !!!

Madisyn will get her DOC Band this week from Cranial Tech. in Austin - Nick and I take her Thursday morning. For those of you who don't know, Madisyn's pediatrician noticed at her last visit that she has flattening on the backside of her head, on one side more than the other. The referred us to a specialist in Austin. They think she needs a DOC band, which is kind of like a little helmet that is open on the top -- her case is mild and they think she will only have to wear it for 4-6 weeks. It is largely cosmetic, but, it could also possibly cause problems with vision, jawline, sinuses, etc. down the road if not treated. I don't know what she will think about this -- it only weighs 6 ounces and they say the smaller the child is, the less it bothers them and the shorter they have to wear it. Luckily, this was caught early. We can decorate it cute - I went to Hobby Lobby today and got all kinds of stuff to decorate it -- it will be pink, have her name on it, as well as some bling.....and a place to change out bows....... we will get her all fixed up !!! Please pray for little Maddie.....that it corrects the problem and that she is not bothered by it. Above are a few pics of her at the clinic having the imaging done for them to make the band, just for her ! Madisyn even decided to check out the bands for herself and is reading up on it....lol !

These last few months have been fun -- in May, we went to Sea World and then were in South Padre for a week. The girls had a blast on the beach and were not ready to leave. In June, my sister Courtney and my nieces McKenzie and McKayla came up to visit. The girls went to Vacation Bible School and had so much fun playing together. We took them to the McKenna Children's Museum, which they loved. We also attended our nephew, Noah's 1st birthday party. This was fun - they always love a reason to play with ELI ! Hailey and Kaitlyn spent a few nights with Nana & Papa in San Antonio - they got to hang out with cousins and go see WallE. My parents were up for the 4th of July...the girls enjoyed some quality 'Papaw & Neena' time.....we went to Landa Park and watched the fireworks. Hailey and Kaitlyn are joined at the hip these days -- don't know what they would do without one another -- they entertain one another for hours. And Madisyn.....I cannot say enough about her, she is just a sweetheart who has eyes for her momma !!!!
